OU Blog is another blogging tool besides Moodle’s integrated one. With OU Blog it is possible to define who are able to contribute and in which time interval.
The visibility and the nature of a blog can be described as followed.
Individual blogs options:
- No (blog together or in groups) – no private blogs but every one can post to a same single one and see the content.
- Separate individual blogs – separate blogs that are visible to owner and the course teachers.
- Visible individual blogs – separate blogs that are visible to others. Only owner can write though.
Maximum visibility options:
- This option is available only when Individual blogs setting is No (blog together or in groups)
- Visible to participants on this course – users attending the course can see the posts.
- Visible to everyone who is logged in to the system – All logged users can see the activity whether they are members of the course or not.
- Visible to anyone in the world (internet) – everyone with the URL of the blog see the content.
