ReadSpeaker tool enables turning written text into audible form. First enable Editing Mode in your course.
then add Readspeaker block like other blocks: Scroll to the bottom and the screen and from right hand side select ReadSpeaker webReader from the Add Block dropdown menu.
After this the ReadSpeaker block will appear in Your course.
Adding compatible file to your course
ReadSpeaker supports attached files created with Word, Powerpoint and PDF files in text form (ReadSpeaker cannot read for example scanned book pages)
a docReader button will appear at the end of the attached file that will open the file in ReadSpeaker docReader and can be listened from there.
ReadSpeaker default language
ReadSpeaker default language can be changed by clicking block setting and Configure Listen to this page using ReadSpeaker block. Select from the block settings the language of the course. This change text language of the block and ReadSpeaker default reading language.
