Calendar can be used to keep track of course events, deadlines and so on. In compact block view different kind of events are marked with different colors. New events can be added to calendar by opening the calendar to the extended page view .
All exams and other scheduled tasks will automatically appear on calendar.

Click New event to create a new event on a course. Configure Event title, Date and Description.
Events in Calendar will also appear in Upcoming events block.
